The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized the event “Beyond the Graduation: Exploring Higher Education Opportunities” on 12.08.2026 for students to gain valuable insights into higher education pathways and opportunities beyond graduation.

The session focused on understanding eligibility criteria, admission processes, entrance examinations, and academic requirements for various higher education programmes. Students were also guided in developing individual higher education plans and exploring scholarships, fellowships, financial aid, and other funding opportunities for pursuing higher studies.

The session was delivered by Dr. P. Suresh, Dean – International Relations and HRDC, Vel Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi.

The event encouraged students to look beyond graduation, plan their academic journey, and explore opportunities for professional growth, specialization, and lifelong learning. 🎓✨

The Value-Added Course on ““Next-Gen Healthcare: Medical Devices & Digital Health” introduces students to emerging medical technologies, smart medical devices, digital healthcare solutions, AI, IoT, remote patient monitoring, and connected healthcare systems. The course enhances students’ knowledge of innovative technologies shaping the future of healthcare.
