Dr.MGR University Faculty Of Hotel Management Culinary Arts Aviation Denovo History of Dr. M.G.R. Within three years of its inception, Dr. M.G.R. Both the colleges acquired Deemed University status in 2003 as Dr. M.G.R.

Aiming to bring about change and progress through education, the Tmt.Kannammal Educational Trust was constituted in 1985 and started Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College. Engineering College was founded in 1988, and the Thai Moogambigai Dental College was started in the year 1991. Educational and Research Institute as per the orders of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and the Union Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, New Delhi. 30,000 laddus. One celebration. Countless memories. ✨

We proudly celebrated the birthday of our Founder Chancellor with a remarkable culinary initiative — the preparation of 30,000 traditional laddus.

Under the guidance of our Master Chefs and faculty members, our enthusiastic students came together to plan, prepare, shape, pack, and distribute the laddus with great dedication and teamwork.

This initiative provided our students with a valuable hands-on learning experience, strengthening their skills in large-scale food production, kitchen coordination, hygiene, quality control, time management, teamwork, and event ex*****on. The 30,000 laddus were distributed among the staff members, students, well-wishers, friends and relatives of the University, and members of various educational institutions, spreading sweetness and joy across the wider University community.

More than just preparing food, our students experienced the true spirit of culinary craftsmanship, service, collaboration, and celebration.
