The Postgraduate Degree programme in Public Relations, started in 2006, under the headship of Dr. Sundari Krishnamurthy, is both relevant and necessary in the context of globalization and the emerging scenario in India which needs trained people in a wide range of fields: organizations in the public, private and corporate sector, non-governmental organizations, self-help groups, and international
