NEET UG 2017 –MYTHS & FACTS:
NEET UG 2017[National Eligibility cm Entrance Test] could be made
mandatory for admissions into the various Medical Colleges across the Country for securing
M.B.B.S/B.D.S seats. So far, in our state the M.B.B.S/B.D.S admissions have been based on the Cut off
Mark scored by the + 2 Students in the + 2 Examination, in the 3 subjects, namely Biology, Physics and
Chemistry. From the year 2017 onwards, the selection process for M.B.B.S/B.D.S admissions might be
based exclusively on the NEET 2017 score got by the + 2 students.
This method of selection, is a looming threat for + 2 students studying in the
STATE BOARD SYLALABUS in the various schools in the state, because the NEET Question paper is
predominantly framed from the +1 & +2 NCERT books[CENTRAL BOARD SYLLABUS].
