"MEET OF THE TIRELESS WARRIORS"

-BORN TO MAKE A MARK

The session started with a welcome address by Mr.Chinnaya Rajesh Kumar, President of the Alumni Association, GKMCET. A quick recap of all the names was made in order to make sure that we are much aware about our fellow mates. This session mainly targeted on "student suggestions to make this event a grand success". Our noble minds did come up with a lot of fascinating ideas that made an everlasting impression in all our hearts and proved to be worth trying to make this a remarkable event in the history of GKMCET. It all began with naming a team, 5 names were shortlisted and they were "GGESTERS", "SURVIVORS", "I-CAN BELIEVERS ,"SANDWICH", "FIRST BLOOD".The selection is still on the process and its purely based on the voting format in face book group page. Polls close by Sunday (20th January 2013) 10 PM and the team name will be announced officially.

Some of them suggested in making a "GGES ANTHEM" to spread the message through the magic of music. Our cricket lovers came up with a sporty idea of conducting a "GGES CRICKET TOURNAMENT" as cricket is one sport which is similar to a religion with a million die-hard followers. Few of our well known dramatists came up with a thought of showcasing a "WITTY SKIT" to be staged to make everyone aware of the summit meet.The official "GGES POSTER" was released and the team is planning to stick these posters in our college buses as well as the MTC buses as its a unique way in broadcasting the message, definitely in a pocket friendly way.Then a description about the "B-PLAN INITIATIVE" was given which will help bringing out the spectacular future entrepreneurs. Some suggested in conducting debates and a demo debate was initiated, started like a fire spark but ended like a volcanic eruption. A brief discussion on costumes was made where guys selected to wear a blue formal shirt paired with dark coloured pant and matching tie while the girls opted to wear white salwar to depict professionalism.
