The School of Physiotherapy, VISTAS, Thalambur, successfully organized a workshop on “Chest X-Ray Masterclass – Pattern Recognition in Adult & Pediatric Respiratory Conditions” on 9th October 2026, in observance of World Heart Day.

🎓 Resource Person: Dr. S. Aravind, MPT (Cardio), Ph.D., Head of the Department, Department of Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences, Saveetha College of Physiotherapy, Saveetha Institute of Medical & Technical Sciences, Thandalam, Chennai.

The workshop offered valuable insights into chest X-ray interpretation and pattern recognition, enhancing participants’ clinical reasoning and assessment skills in adult and pediatric respiratory care. 🩻🫁

1. Seminar on “Comprehensive Physiotherapy approach to Cancer related Lymphodema” by Dr. Naveen Kumar Selvaraj, PT, Chief Physio and HOD, Sringeri Sharada Equitas Cancer & Multi specialty Hospital for BPT Fourth Year students on 11-03-2026

2. Extension activity through Blood donation camp - “Educating Cancer awareness among students” on 13-03-2026 in collaboration with Sringeri Sharada Equitas Hospital, Chennai & Rela Hospital, Chennai.

3. Seminar on “Cancer awareness programme” by Dr. Usha, MBBS, MD, PDF, Consultant Gynaecologist & Once Surgeon, Sringeri Sharada Equitas Hospital, Chennai on 13-03-2026 for BPT III Year Students.

4.Extension activity through Health awareness Program “The Fourth Trimester care” conducted at Tambaram District headquarters hospital on 14-03-2026 with our PG Final year students.
