Congratulations to Dr. C. Bharatiraja, Professor, SRMIST, on securing a prestigious ₹1.0786 Crore SPARC research grant from the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The funded project, SMART-DWPT for Viksit Bharat, will drive cutting-edge research in dynamic wireless power transfer for next-generation urban electric mobility. Undertaken in collaboration with leading researchers from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), University of Auckland (New Zealand) and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea), this achievement reflects SRMIST's commitment to advancing globally impactful research and innovation.

Driving Innovation from Lab to Industry!

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Pon Pure Chemicals Group, inaugurated the SRMIST–Pon Pure Drilling Fluids Lab, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to strengthening research, technology transfer and indigenous manufacturing in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The inauguration was graced by Dr C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice-Chancellor, SRMIST; Mr M. Ponnuswami, Chairman and Managing Director, Pon Pure Chemicals Group; Mr Surya Prakas, Executive Director, Pon Pure Chemicals Group; Dr S. Strengthening India's Semiconductor Ecosystem

Semiconductors are shaping the future of technology, and SRM Institute of Science and Technology is strengthening its role in this rapidly evolving sector.

SRMIST has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Caliber Interconnects Private Limited, Singapore, and Ciyes Systems Private Limited, Tamil Nadu, to advance semiconductor research, post-silicon validation, chip design, and workforce development. The collaboration will bridge academia and industry, empowering students and researchers to develop innovative, industry-ready semiconductor solutions.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice-Chancellor, SRMIST; Prof. M.
