Consortium of Chemical Technologists would like to thank everyone for attending our grand inauguration ceremony on 31st August 2016.We would like to specially extend our gratitude to Dr.T.Ramasami for gracing with his presence and enlightening us with his wisdom.Last but not least we are grateful to our very supportive Dean Dr.S.Sivanesan and HOD Dr.N.Nagendra Gandhi.
With such a begining we hope that we achieve more sucess with each step we take.

Take part in the Chemfluence Online Photography contest and show us you can work wonders with a camera and win exciting prizes worth 2k!!!

Rules for Online Photography:
•The Online Photography Contest will take place from 19th February to 28th February, 2015.
•The Theme of the contest is "WASTE MANAGEMENT" and "GREEN WITH ENVY". Participants are required to submit photo with relevance to this theme.
•To Participate, Participants should send their photos with their personal details to [email protected]
•All the photos need to have a title or tagline.
•Deadline for uploading photos is 28th February,2015.
•The photo will be reviewed and posted in Chemfluence page and the photo with maximum number of likes on 11.59PM, 28th February wins!
•Maximum of two entries are allowed.
•We will not tolerate obscenity of any kind in the photos.

Consortium of Chemical Technologists, Anna University in association with Quest Explore Discover (QED), an organization pioneering in developing exhibit-centric science, is organizing 'Chemiscope '15–The Junkchemist ' a one of-a-kind science exhibition for school students on 14th February, 2015.

For the convenience of the students and to ensure our campaign reaches to all ages, we have divided the events into the following categories:
LEVEL 1: CHEMTOTS, GRADE 6-8
WEALTH FROM WASTE (MODEL) -Using only junk material, construct a model. You can use as many waste items. We are looking for the most innovative product with effective application.
Members per team: 3 students
POSTER PRESENTATION -Make a poster related to the theme “Waste Management” to create awareness. Members per team: 2 students

LEVEL 2: CHEMTEENS, GRADES 9 AND 11 (Interested students from 10th and 12th may also participate)
WASTE TREATMENT (MODEL) For the treatment/recycle/effective use of any of the following: Waste Water, Solid Refuse, Kitchen Waste, Paper, etc. Models may run on electricity. Members per team: 3 students
POSTER PRESENTATION Make a poster related to the theme “Waste Management” to create awareness. Members per team: 2 students

Apart from the technical part, we also have the following events for the creative ones! It will not have age bars, and students will be judged upon imaginative application of wastes:

1.JUNK ART (Teams may consist of any number of students)
Make any form of art out of recycled waste. For eg: sculptures, collages, posters, paintings, etc.
2.BIN BEATS (Teams may consist of any number of students)
Make music out of waste items. Performance is judged based on music made, and not the singing. Maximum 3 minutes.
3. A WALK WITH WASTE (Team of maximum 10 students, 3 minutes maximum)
Use waste materials to decorate your clothes and show off your ramp skills! You may also carry placards with catchy quotes related to the theme. Choose your own theme music. Any kind of obscenity will lead to immediate disqualification.

A one of a kind science exhibition focusing at enriching the learning experience for school students

Here comes an exciting opportunity for the designers!! Design a T-shirt for Chemfluence’15 and win exciting prizes..!!

These are the rules for T-shirt design competition:
1. Design should be based on the theme of Chemical engineering.
2. Design should be made for round neck tshirt and it should include chemfluence name and logo. Logo can be downloaded from page.
3. The maximum number of colors that can be used is 3.
4. There is no restriction on the base color which can be used.
5. The final designs should be mailed to [email protected] on or before 18th February 2015 in .jpg format. Entries sent after this date will not be considered for the contest.
6. The judge's decision will be final.

Consortium of Chemical Technologists, Anna University in association with Quest Explore Discover (QED), an organization pioneering in developing exhibit-centric science, is organizing a Science Exhibition 'Chemiscope '15–The Junkchemist ' a one of-a-kind science exhibition which is going to be held on 14th February, 2015 which focuses on enriching the learning experience for school students and helping students realize the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Swacch Bharath Swacch Vidhyalaya” campaign through practical solutions.
The Regional Officer CBSE Shri. D.T. Sudarshan Rao will be inaugurating the Exhibition and be the Chief Guest. The following events are conducted for different grades of school students,
