From drawings to construction sites—learning architecture through experience.
The III Year B.Arch students of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, visited DAC NAPPAVALLEY Apartments, OMR, Navalur as part of their Architectural Design IV course.
The visit offered practical insights into apartment planning, site zoning, structural systems, residential layouts, building services, sustainable design strategies, landscape planning, quality assurance, and safety measures followed during construction.
Such experiential learning opportunities empower students to connect academic knowledge with professional practice, preparing them for the evolving field of architecture.
The site visit was guided by faculty members Ar. Vilasini and L.Ar. Mohammed Waseem Akram, who provided valuable academic insights and professional guidance throughout the visit.
