A proud celebration of legacy, excellence, and achievement — Coimbatore Institute of Technology commemorates its Institute Day, bringing together the entire CIT community for a memorable occasion.

We are privileged to welcome our Honourable Chief Guest, Ms. Gowri Kailasam, Distinguished Alumna (B.Tech Chemical Engineering, 1985–1989), and Chief Executive Officer, SLD and LMCI, Rane (Madras) Limited, Chennai, whose inspiring journey stands as a testament to the values and legacy of CIT.

CIT Alumni Day 2026 – A Celebration of Legacy and Innovation

On March 14, 2026, the campus of Coimbatore Institute of Technology came alive with warmth and nostalgia as alumni from various batches returned to celebrate CIT Alumni Day 2026. The event created a wonderful opportunity for former students to reconnect with old friends, interact with faculty, and relive the memories that shaped their journey at CIT.

One of the highlights of the day was the project showcase by current students, where alumni had the opportunity to explore innovative ideas, research projects, and technological solutions developed by the present generation of CITians. The interaction between alumni and students fostered meaningful discussions, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
