Rathinam College of Arts and Science Honored for Excellence in Road Safety Awareness

Rathinam College of Arts and Science proudly announces its recognition as the Second Best Institution in Coimbatore for its remarkable contributions to Road Safety Awareness. This prestigious accolade was awarded by the Uyir Club Coimbatore and the Coimbatore City Police in recognition of the college’s outstanding efforts in conducting impactful road safety programs between June 2024 and December 2024.

Key Achievements:
• Ranked as the Second Best Institution in promoting road safety awareness among students and the community.
• Organized various initiatives to educate the public on safe driving practices, helmet usage, and adherence to traffic rules.

We are excited to inform that our Department of Visual communication ( VFX ) has initiated an idea based on combination of both Virtual and Augmented reality (VR & AR). This immersive experience was showcased to our esteemed CEO, Dr. Manickam Ramasamy , at Rathinam College of Arts and Science. This initiative was delivered using the MetaQuest 3 device, is a pioneering initiative within our college. We are proud to report that our CEO has offered numerous ideas for conducting events and workshops using this device across various departments. Additionally, we shared our ideas with him, resulting in a productive and insightful discussion. We are excited to share these developments with our Rathinam Team.

School of Commerce, Rathinam College of Arts and Science and International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), United Kingdom have organized 15th International Conference on “Artificial Intelligence in Business Management (ICAIBM-2K24)” impact on E-Commerce, Accounting and Finance.

Dr. R. Manickam, CEO and Secretary, Rathinam College of Arts and Science, delivered the Presidential address and spoke about Artificial Intelligence and emphasized its importance, innovation, product development and methods of management.

The Chief Guest Mr. Imran Wadkar, Member Institute of Analytics [IoA], International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC) HP13 5DT, United Kingdom, has spoken about the Artificial Intelligence in Business Management and shared insights on data sources that can be used in Artificial Intelligence. Also, he interacted with the students and motivated them in the development of day-to-day affairs in business.

Ms. Pooja Shah, Managing Director, MIDAS- School of Entrepreneurship, Dean of Student Activities at FLAME University, Mundhwa, Pune, delivered the Special Keynote Address and spoke about the benefits of AI and its potential impact on economic growth.

Mr. Vijaya Krishnan Plakkat, Founder& CEO, Talent 2 Success, Bengaluru, Karnataka shared his experience on Serial Entrepreneurship, adapting to changing business environments, and leveraging their networks and resources to launch and scale new ventures.

Nearly, two hundred students and 21 faculty members from various colleges and universities in the region of national and international level have participated and presented their papers with different area under the theme of conference.

Congratulations to Rathinamites !!!

Rathinam College of Arts & Science Triumphs at Bharathiar University’s Intercollegiate Football Tournament.

Coimbatore,- Rathinam College of Arts & Science has proudly secured the top position in the prestigious Bharathiar University Intercollegiate Football Tournament, triumphing in the highly competitive inter-zone competition. This annual tournament witnesses participation from over 100 affiliated colleges, divided into four zones: A, B, C, and D.

In a display of exceptional skill and teamwork, Rathinam College outperformed formidable opponents in a series of matches. The tournament concluded with Rathinam College clinching the championship title, while PSG College secured the runner-up position. VLB College and Nilgiri College achieved third and fourth places respectively.

Zone-wise Results:

- A-Zone:Winners - Nilgiris College; Runners - Cuddalore College
- B-Zone: Winners - PSG College; Runners - RVS College
- C-Zone Winners - Rathinam College; Runners - VLB College
- D-Zone: Winners - Gobi Arts College; Runners - Kongu College

Inter-Zone Competition Highlights:

-Knockout Stage:Rathinam College showcased a dominant performance against Cuddalore College with a 6-0 victory.

- League Stage Matches:

- Rathinam College defeated Nilagiri College 4-1.

- In a closely contested match, Rathinam College drew 2-2 with VLB College.

- Rathinam College secured a convincing 3-0 win over PSG College.

The consistent high performance of Rathinam College throughout the tournament is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship of the players and coaching staff. The college extends its heartfelt gratitude to the players, Coach and physical directors.
