I am delighted to share that I had the privilege of serving as a Jury Member at the Startup Pitch Fest 2026, organized by IAAA in association with StartupTN, on the occasion of the 95th Birthday Celebrations of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at StartupTN Coimbatore Hub.

I am also proud to share that Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, will be honoured with the “Excellence in Aerospace Education and Innovation Award” by IAAA in recognition of its contributions to aerospace education and innovation.

It is a proud moment for our institution and a motivation to continue fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and excellence in aerospace and defence.

K. Madhesh, Managing Director (III Year Cybersecurity), and S. Rethish, Chief Technology Officer (II Year Cybersecurity) of Nexafo Tech Pvt. Ltd., a student startup associated with the Department of Cybersecurity, Nehru Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Coimbatore, conducted a one-day workshop titled “Web Development in the Era of AI” at KGiSL Institute of Technology on 1 October 2026 for students of the Information Technology Department.

A remarkable day of technical learning, industry interaction, innovative thinking, and student engagement! The successful completion of DEFENCE UAS 2026 marks another significant initiative towards nurturing future aerospace professionals and promoting industry–academia collaboration in emerging defence and unmanned aerial technologies.
