India’s GDP will accelerate to
9-10% [1] with India crossing over China in terms of GDP inthe next decade. Many countries are seeing India as a global emerging market and developingeconomy. Companies are showing their interest to invest and have partnership with India, asthey think it shall be a win-win situation for their business in long run.Rural India constitutes 72.2% [2] of the population. Due to increased literacy rate, and
improved health conditions; these sectors will see greater developments. India’s population in
2012 is 1.22 billion with 50% of population are in the age group of 0-25 years [3].Due to abundance of educated and talented working population, employment rate among allclasses will increase. The unemployment rate is 9.4% in 2011 [4], and by 2020 an additional136 million jobs [5] opportunities will be required which is a major challenge. Mass scale
quality education being the base for nation’s development, shall help in promoting
employment opportunities and economic growth.
