Amrita Centre for Entrepreneurship (ACE), CIR, is happy to announce the results of the top 4 entries in the ACE Startup Challenge for Amrita's students and alumni innovators to create a Canteen Table Cleaning Robot.
Participants were asked to visit the college canteen to create a technology-based, unique, customized solution for cleaning food spills on tables. Spread over a period of several months, the challengers had to submit an abstract by April 16 2026, a CAD model / POC / prototype by May 16, 2026, and make a fully functional model by June 16, 2026. After this, they were exposed to a few mentoring sessions, and with improvements and fine-tuning, they made their final presentations to the jury on July 15, 2026. What began with 35 participating entries in the first level came down to 20 in the 2nd stage and 9 in the 3rd stage.
Finally, the top 4 entries selected by the jury are as follows:
