GRG Polytechnic College
GRG Polytechnic College was established in 1980 with a vision to provide technical education and it was the first aided Polytechnic College for Women in Coimbatore. It changed into a co-educational institution in 2007 with a broader perspective of empowering rural youth in technical education. The students become persuasive in learning quality education through updated technological environment.
The state-of-the-art laboratories provide practical insights to the students on the technical theories. Exclusive training on 'placement' is being given to the students to meet the required skills of the industry of today. Entrepreneurship Development Cell equips the students by inviting the successful entrepreneurs who nurture innovative talents.
The institution renders service to the public with different skill training programmes with a motto of empowering the rural unemployed youth. In recognition of this effort, GRGPTC received the 'Best Performer Award' from the government for the quality service in equipping rural youth to earn their living through the skill training.
