Nathaniyal Murmu Memorial College has been started its journey from 22nd February 2011 with 135 students and five departments (Bengali, English, History, Education, Sociology) for the session 2011-2012. aided College (Govt. of West Bengal) and affiliated to University of Gour Banga. Since the establishment of the college Five Honours subjects (Bengali, English, Education, History & Sociology) has
been opened along with Eight general Subjects (Bengali, English, Education, History, Sociology, Sanskrit, Political Science & Philosophy). After completion of 7 successful academic sessions, college is rapidly growing. Students of the college increasing day by day and expectation of local people reached in a great high to admit their students. College building also completed 1st floor to 2nd floor along with a big conference hall. The Department of North Bengal Development already started another new building for development of the college. Having with strong faculties college offers rich library facilities to the students who can access more than six thousand books. There is a Virtual Class Room facilities are available in the College along with sports facilities for men and women students separately. Every year students participates in Sports, Youth Parliament competition and other extracurricular activities. So college is running with peaceful and good ambience. Teachers are very sincere to solve every issues and problems of students. They are always ready to respond to the students with great patience. In every stage college is prevailing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings which are the great wealth of this college. Beside this local peoples are also continuously supporting in every steps of college.
