1. About Chandravansi group:
Ram Chandra Chandravansi Welfare Trust (RCWT), Palamau, Jharkhand aims at imparting quality education in all the branches like Engineering, Management, Medical, Vocational and Arts for both boys and girls. Ever since its humble beginnings in 2006, the Group has gone from strength to strength.
Various institutions run by RCWT are:
Ramchandra Chandravansi Institute of Technology(RCIT), established in 2008, is the flag bearer of the Group which is now acknowledged as one of the leading institutions in the galaxy of Engineering Institutions in East India. RCIT is providing excellent opportunities to young minds to develop into competent engineers, both technically and managerially, to serve various industrial segments.
The Government of India's Mission is to create a trained Skilled Manpower of atleast 500 million persons by 2020. Hence the Ministry of HRD is into the implementation of scheme for setting up 300 new Polytechnics. At RCWT, the need for producing competent diploma engineers were felt a long time back and in 2013, Ramchandra Chandravansi Polytehnic Institute, Bishrampur (RCPI) has been started. This visionary step is proving to be a boon for the backward region of Palamu and large swath of adjoining areas of UP, Chhatisgarh and Bihar. Ramchandra Chandravanhi Industrial Training Center, Bishrampur (RCITC) was opened earlier to provide technically competent manpower at the basic level.
To provide impetus to all-round development of the backward region of Palamu and adjoining areas, vocational courses were started, where the colleges provide degrees in B. Ed., M.Ed. and Physical Education.
Attention to improvement and spread of medical education is the need of the hour in our country. Sohari Chandravanshi ANM & GNM Nusring School, Bishrampur (SCNS) and Sohari Chandravanshi Paramedical Institute, Bishrampur (SCPI) have been established recently to cater to the need of the medical profession.
True development of a diversified society like ours can not be achieved without appropriate attention to female education and upliftment. Sohari Chandravanshi Paramedical Institute, Bishrampur (SCPI), Laxmi Chandravansi Degree Mahila College, Rehla (LCDMC) and Laxmi Chandravansi Girl's High School, Kandi (LCGHS) are doing yeoman services to the region in this respect for a very long time.
At RCWT, we believe that education is not complete without simultaneous development of both body and mind. To this end, we have developed extensive infrastructure at Bisrampur including a stadium and other compatible facilities catering to Co-curricular activities for all-round development of the young.
It is our endeavour to develop all institutes/colleges under RCWT in an University in near future.

2. Chairman's message:
Chandravansi group of institutions run by Ramchandra Chandravansi Welfare Trust(RCWT) has an inspiring journey since its inception in (2006). Starting with two institutions in 2002, the group has grown into an educational hub with 14 institutions in various fields providing excellent opportunity to the young minds to fulfil their ambitions.
Whether it is technical/ medical education, degree college, B.Ed/M.Ed studies or school for boys and girls, the RCWT has always endeavoured to fulfil the need of the aspiring minds in the backward/deprived region of Palamu and large swath of adjoining areas of UP, Chhatisgarh and Bihar.

I have a vision for the group of institutions to develop into a Deemed University in near future. With these few words, I wish to welcome the new batch of students who aspire to come here to build a bright future for themselves and their families.
