The University Department of Chemistry, LNMU successfully organized a five-day workshop on "Research with AI: From Idea to Innovation" (14–18 September 2026), bringing together faculty members, researchers, and students to explore the effective, practical, and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in research and academia.
The valedictory session was graced by Dr. G. S. Chauhan, Joint Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. The programme was chaired by Prof. Dilip Kumar Chaudhary, Head, Department of Chemistry, LNMU.

Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kumar Choudhary inaugurated the five-day hands-on workshop, "Research with AI: From Ideas to Innovation," organized jointly by the University Department of Chemistry and the Research & Development Cell, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. N. C. Gautam, Former Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Satna, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Binod Kumar Tripathi, Advisor to the Hon'ble Governor of Bihar (Faculty Excellence & Academic Development), as the Guest of Honour.

The workshop aims to familiarize teachers, researchers, and students with the effective, ethical, and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence in research, teaching, and academic advancement.
