It was a pleasure to host our esteemed alumni Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Professor of Law at the prestigious Harvard University and former President of the TGIE on 18 May 2026 for a Special Lecture in our Department. His interesting talk perfectly balanced his own experiences with academic insights on geo politics, China Tibet Issues and the politics of Reincarnation. The students and faculty had a great interactive session.

Ridhika Basnet and Sakshi Gupta, our Department alumni from 2024 visited today and held an interactive session cm career talk with our outgoing 6th Semester students. Ridhika has just completed her Master's in International Studies at Christ University Bangalore while Sakshi is a UPSC aspirant who is now heading for a degree in Event Management from Mumbai. We thank them for their time with the students.

Sem 6 and Sem 4 students of our Department went for a Departmental excursion to Assam and Meghalaya on 27 April - 2 May. They had a great cultural experience with wonderful and scenic landscapes.
