Head of the departments and Students of BSc Nursing, S.I.M.S. College of Nursing, Dehradun on 4th February 2023 conducted an awareness programme on cancer and its prevention.
The programme was inaugurated by the managing director Mr. Singhal. He spoke about cancer and its causes to the participants. After the inaugural session, poster making competition was judged by them and the best posters about causes of cancer, signs and symptoms, diagnostic measures, and prevention of cancer were displayed in the corridor. BSc Nursing students were involved in poster presentations. Along with this programme educational pamphlets were distributed to the participants.

74th Republic Day was celebrated at Sushila Institute of Medical Sciences with great joy and patriotism. Honourable chairman hoisted the flag followed by Republic Day speech to the students and faculty. Hod and other faculty members also took part in the event organised by Director with great enthusiasm.
