JBIT Group of Institutions organized a Free Medical Camp and Blood Donation Drive on the death anniversary of Late Shri L.D. Singhal Ji on 17.09.2026, aiming to provide healthcare to the underprivileged and promote social responsibility among youth. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma (Chief Medical Officer, Dehradun), with Mr. R.P. Gupta (Former Director, Technical Education) and Mr. Mohan Khatri (Treasurer, Indian Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand) as Guests of Honour. A team of specialists including physicians, surgeons, ENT experts, dentists, ophthalmologists, pediatricians, gynecologists, orthopedists, neurologists, Panchakarma experts, and physiotherapists offered free consultations, tests, and medicines. Facilities such as ECG, eye and dental check-ups, calcium, BP, sugar, and cholesterol tests benefited many citizens. The camp was supported by Graphic Era Hospital, Kailash Hospital, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Doon Institute of Medical Sciences, Devbhoomi Blood Bank, and Tata 1mg Labs. NSS and YRC volunteers, faculty, and students actively donated blood, while student volunteers contributed to smooth ex*****on. Doctors and medical staff were felicitated for their service. This initiative provided vital healthcare, strengthened values of compassion and service, and served as a heartfelt tribute to Late Shri L.D. Singhal Ji. JBIT reaffirmed its role as a center of knowledge and social responsibility, setting a strong precedent for future welfare programs.
