Army School Raiwala was established in 1981 to cater to the educational needs of the children of serving and retired Army Personnel. From its modest beginning with 21 students and 03 teachers in a humble building, the school has registered phenomenal growth in the last three decades. The school was granted recognition by UP Board of Education

on 08 Feb 1985 vide their letter No Siksha/50/84478/Sthai Maniyata/84-85 dated 08 Feb 1985. On 01 July 1992, classes I to VI of the school was granted recognition by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) and the Institution was converted to Army School Raiwala. Affiliation from CBSE for senior Secondary was accorded in 1992 up to class X and then school was upgraded up to class XII in 1996. The new school building is an imposing structure with ultra modern class rooms, laboratories and allied facilities to mould and shape the future of 1800 students under the able guidance of a learned Principal, teaching staff and a very proactive management

With the inauguration of the new building of this school on 09 Nov 2010, the children of Army Personnel and Civilians in and around Raiwala have now been provided with a Public School that will provide world class education.
