BSc. Forestry 4th semester visited Tribal Research Institute today. Students learnt about various aspects of tribal communities of Uttrakhand including social institutions, food habits, folk arts, infrastructure, political participation, ethnomedicine, education, ethnography and government-run programmes and schemes for uplifting tribals. Students also visited the tribal cultural museum, where they got a glimpse of the culture, heritage, artefacts, and social life's of the Tharu, Raji, Buksa, jaunsari and Bhotiya tribes.
