हिमालय की पीठ पर विकास का बोझ है…
जिस पहाड़ ने हमें नदियाँ दीं, जंगल दिए, जीवन दिया,
आज उसी के सीने पर सड़कें, सुरंगें और इमारतें उग रही हैं।

विकास चाहिए… मगर ऐसा नहीं,
जिसमें हिमालय ही अपना अस्तित्व खो दे।

क्योंकि पहाड़ सिर्फ पत्थर नहीं होते…
