*Glimpse of Shivalik Annual Athletics Meet – 2026*
We are happy to share with you all that the *Shivalik Annual Athletics Meet – 2026* was successfully organized on 13th and 14th March 2026 at the Shivalik Sports Complex Ground. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments and branches of the institution.
A total of 105 students participated in the athletics meet. The competition included nine track and field events conducted in both Boys and Girls categories, namely:
• 100 Meter Race
• 200 Meter Race
• 400 Meter Race
• 1500 Meter Race
• 4×200 Meter Mixed Relay
• Long Jump
• Triple Jump
• Shot Put
• Discus Throw
The participants showcased remarkable sportsmanship, physical endurance, and mental strength while competing on the athletic track. The event created a vibrant sporting atmosphere and encouraged students to actively engage in physical activities alongside their academic commitments.
The organizing team expresses sincere gratitude to the esteemed management for granting the necessary approvals and continuous guidance for the successful conduct of the event.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Director SCE Dr. T.S. Sidhu sir for his constant support and encouragement throughout the event. Special thanks are also extended to Principal Pharmacy Dr. Sayantan Mukhopadhyay sir, DSW Dr. Shabnam Ara ma'am, Dean Academic Dr. Surmadhur Pant sir, and Dean Agriculture Dr. S. Pande sir for their valuable support, motivation, and encouragement to the students.
We would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Govind Kumar, Mr. Vineet Kumar, Mr. Tushar Verma, Mr. Obed Singh, Mr. Vikas Mehar, and Mr. Jitender Rawat for being a helping hand throughout the event and supporting the organizing team at every stage.
We are equally grateful for the logistical support provided by Mr. Anil Panwar Ji, Mr. Manikant Ji, Mr, Bahuguna ji, Mr. Sachin Painuly Ji, the Admin Team, Mr. Robin, and Mr. Aman, Mr. Pradeep, Mr. Nayab, Mr. Manjeet, Mr. Robin and Mr. Vishu whose efforts contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on of the event.
A special mention goes to our *NCC Unit and its Cadets*, whose impressive march past and drills added discipline and pride to the athletics meet, making the event even more memorable.
Finally, no event can be successful without its true strength—our students and volunteers. We sincerely thank all the participants and volunteers for their dedication, enthusiasm, and active contribution in making this annual sports event another great success.
