Our story begins in 2000 with the Maya Devi Educational Foundation, established by leading educationists, professionals, and philanthropists. Their vision: an educational system fostering technocrats and professionals renowned for their dedication, discipline, integrity, and character. In 2010, this vision took shape with the Maya Institute

of Technology & Management (MITM) in Dehradun, our first venture focused on innovative teaching and preparing globally competitive graduates. Driven by this success, the Maya Group of Colleges expanded, establishing institutions dedicated to Teacher Education (B.Ed.), Hotel Management, Agriculture & Technology, Science & Technology, Pharmacy, and more. Day 3 was a powerful blend of awareness, learning and student talent, as our newly admitted students explored important life skills and showcased their creativity. 🌟

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Tripti Juyal Semwal, Vice President, Mr. Jagdish Bhandari, President, PPS Retired Organisation, and Mr. B. B. D. Juyal.

🚫 Anti-Drugs Awareness — Inspiring stories and awareness on the harmful effects of substance abuse.

🛡️ Anti-Ragging Awareness — Dr. Sandeep, Anti-Ragging Expert, sensitised students on prevention, discipline and mutual respect.

🔐 Cyber Security Awareness — Mr. Rajeev Semwal, Cyber Security Expert, guided students on online fraud, phishing, OTP safety and responsible digital use.

🎭 Cultural Talent Showcase — Dance, Music, Poetry, Theatre & Open Mic brought the campus alive with creativity and confidence. 🎶🎤

Prof. (Dr.) Tripti Juyal Semwal thanked the experts and guests and encouraged students to stay aware, confident, respectful and responsible throughout their university journey.

🇮🇳 Independence Day Celebrations at Maya Devi University 🇮🇳

Maya Devi University celebrated Independence Day with immense pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm through a series of memorable activities across the campus.

The celebrations commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, led by our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Semwal, as the Tricolour proudly soared high, symbolising our nation’s freedom, unity, and spirit.

The celebrations continued with a vibrant Tiranga Yatra, proudly led by our Hon’ble Dr. Tripti Juyal Semwal, Vice President, Maya Devi University, along with our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Semwal. Students, faculty, and staff participated with great enthusiasm, carrying the Tricolour and celebrating the spirit of patriotism.

The occasion was further enriched by cultural performances presented by our talented students, showcasing the diversity, traditions, and patriotic spirit of India through music, dance, and creative expressions.

It was a celebration that brought the entire Maya Devi University community together in the true spirit of freedom, unity, pride, and togetherness.

The event encouraged students to express their thoughts creatively while celebrating the spirit of patriotism, unity, and responsible citizenship.
