Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav manaenge''"

'Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. People of India are connected to tiranga emotionally. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
“I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days, before you've actually left them.”
These quotes do little justice to the plethora of emotions that we feel as we bid farewell to our dearest seniors. They say that “the two hardest things to say in life is hello for the first time and goodbye for the last”, but between the first hello and the last goodbye we learned so much from our seniors. The day of the farewell which was presumably going to be the hardest one turned into one of the most memorable days as we sang, danced and laughed our way through the memory lane. We are utterly grateful to have you guide us and support us all along.
Our seniors are the epitome of the motto “Unity and Discipline” and have lived and glorified the legacy of Maitreyi NCC. We truly feel proud to have you all dear seniors to look up to and learn from. This is not really a goodbye, we will always keep going back to your advice and have you in our hearts forever.
In the echoes of commands and drill practices we will always remember you, our respected dear seniors.

Saying Goodbye is never simple to an ANO like you ma'am.

We were truly blessed to have an amazing teacher like you and we are going to miss you.

We all want to express our gratitude towards you for being a wonderful mentor.

You were always there at our side and taught us something new out of each situation. With so many inspiring stories you used to tell us, we are thankful to you for instilling good values in us.

"A teacher takes a hand , opens a mind and touches a heart " and you are true example of the same.

We will never forget the sacrifice of our soldiers in the Pulwama attack, and we will always salute them for their service to the nation!

On 14th February 2019, 40 CRPF jawans were killed by a su***de bomber. The group of vehicles carrying these jawans was attacked by a su***de bomber vehicle in Pulwama. 40 jawans and the su***de bomber were killed instantly. The day was marked as the ‘Black Day’ of India and every year, the countrymen pay their tribute to the lost soldiers on the 14th February 2019 Pulwama attack on this day.

We at Maitreyi NCC are proud to share that CDT. Karuna Arora successfully participated in the parasailing camp ,PM rally 2022.This is what she says-

" My experience with the parasailing team has been immensely exhilarating. Ncc has provided cadets with a great opportunity for parasailing which is a dream for most of the cadets. The most exceptional thing about parasailing through ncc is that a cadet gets to fly without any external help which inculcates the feeling of confidence & responsibility. Not only this, cadets also get an opportunity to do parasailing with national flags on their back which fills our heart with pride and patriotism for our country."

Everything is possible when you have determination to achieve something. The thickest fog cannot hide the light that wants to shine ✨

With this being said, we at Maitreyi NCC are gratified to share that our SUO Eshika Singh was selected for the RDC'2022(RAJPATH) and displayed her passion greatly by thundering the whole Rajpath with the voice of her marching boots.

Since 2017, when she took part at Rajpath as JW for the first time, she had a dream of marching on Republic Day. As SW, she did CM Rally(2020) PM Rally(2021), SNIC(2021), and finally headed upto RDC this year being a true example of the saying "A dream doesn't become reality through magic, it takes sweat, determination and hard work".
Despite of the harsh Pandemic and health situations, SUO Eshika Singh stood up for her dream and marched on Republic Day.

Delhi Directorate got the second position in the Republic Day Banner Competition and we are very proud of our SUO, who was the senior of Delhi Directorate too. She was the right marker & at the second number in right guide file, saluting the president and our national flag on 26th January.

RDC being the most prestigious camp completely transforms the personality of a cadet, making them realise their true value and potential alongside giving the realistic experience of diversity of our country by interacting with various cadets from different states.

🎊We congratulate her on this achievement. You are not only an inspiration to all your juniors but your fellow cadets as well. You have taken the glory of Maitreyi NCC to greatest possible heights!🙌🏻

successfully made it to the Cultural Team, PM rally'2022.

The theme of this year's PM rally was Azadi ka Amrit mohatsav. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative by Government of India to commemorate 75 years of progressive India. 🇮🇳

PM rally is an exclusive event of NCC which takes place on 28th of January every year at the Cariappa parade ground, New Delhi.
