🎉 A Successful Beginning! 🎉

The inaugural day of the National Summer School on Quantum Science & Technology: Hands-on Exploration and Emerging Frontiers was successfully conducted on 16 June 2026 at Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.

Organized by the Research & Development Centre (RDC) and IQAC, Shyam Lal College, in collaboration with IIT Delhi, IUAC Delhi, and CSIR-NPL Delhi, the programme commenced with enthusiastic participation from students across India.

The inaugural session featured addresses by Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar (Principal, Shyam Lal College) and Prof. A. C. Pandey (Director, IUAC, New Delhi), while Prof. Niti Agrawal introduced the Summer School theme.

The Summer School reflects the vision of India’s National Quantum Mission, which seeks to strengthen research, innovation, and human resource development in quantum science and technology.

✨ श्याम लाल कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में भारतीय भाषाओं और संस्कृति पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न ✨📚

16–17 जनवरी 2026 को श्याम लाल कॉलेज, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में
“भारतीय भाषा परिवार – संस्कृति से संवाद: भारतीय भाषा और सांस्कृतिक विरासत”
विषय पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का सफल आयोजन किया गया।

इस सम्मेलन का आयोजन कॉलेज के सरस्वती भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा (IKS) केंद्र एवं IQAC द्वारा भारतीय भाषा समिति, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के सहयोग से किया गया। देश के विभिन्न भागों से शिक्षाविदों, शोधार्थियों, अध्यापकों और विद्यार्थियों ने इसमें सक्रिय सहभागिता की।

🪔 उद्घाटन सत्र की मुख्य झलकियाँ

सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन प्रो. रबी नारायण कर, प्राचार्य, श्याम लाल कॉलेज द्वारा किया गया।
प्रो. कुशा तिवारी, निदेशक, सरस्वती IKS केंद्र ने सम्मेलन की संकल्पना और उद्देश्यों को रेखांकित किया।

मुख्य वक्तव्य प्रो. चंद किरण सलूजा (निदेशक (शैक्षणिक), संस्कृत प्रमोशन फाउंडेशन, दिल्ली) द्वारा दिया गया। उन्होंने भारतीय सभ्यता के प्रकृति-केंद्रित दृष्टिकोण पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि भारतीय भाषाएँ हमारी सांस्कृतिक चेतना और भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की प्रमुख वाहक हैं। उन्होंने यह भी रेखांकित किया कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (NEP) 2020 में मातृभाषा एवं भारतीय भाषाओं पर दिया गया जोर सभ्यतागत दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।

📖 अकादमिक सत्र

सम्मेलन के दौरान विभिन्न तकनीकी, पूर्ण, पैनल एवं गोलमेज सत्र आयोजित किए गए, जिनमें:

भारतीय भाषाओं की भाषावैज्ञानिक परंपरा

भाषा और सांस्कृतिक स्मृति

शिक्षा, अनुवाद एवं बहुभाषिकता

डिजिटल नवाचार और भारतीय भाषाएँ

कला, संगीत और साहित्य के माध्यम से भाषाई एकता

जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर गहन विचार-विमर्श हुआ।

🎓 समापन सत्र

समापन सत्र के मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. श्रीनिवास वरखेड़ी, कुलपति, केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय रहे। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय भाषा परिवार की अवधारणा औपनिवेशिक भाषाई वर्गीकरणों से आगे जाकर भारतीय भाषाओं की आंतरिक एकता को सामने लाती है।
विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ. मंथा श्रीनिवासु, संयुक्त सचिव, UGC ने भारतीय भाषाओं को भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा की आत्मा बताया।

सम्मेलन के सफल आयोजन के लिए प्रो. रबी नारायण कर ने सभी अतिथियों और प्रतिभागियों का आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यक्रम का औपचारिक समापन प्रो. कुशा तिवारी के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ। सम्मेलन के सुचारु संचालन में डॉ. सीमा गुगलानी, संयोजक की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।

✨ यह सम्मेलन भारतीय भाषाओं, संस्कृति और ज्ञान परंपरा के पुनर्जागरण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण अकादमिक प्रयास रहा।

SLC(University of Delhi) Shyam Lal College organized a talk on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas under the stewardship of Principal, Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar Sir. Shri Vaibhav Surange, social worker at Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram remained present on the occasion as the Chief Guest and Speaker. Shri Pankaj Choudhary, Dept.of History also remained present.

Dr. Rohit Jahri and Dr. Amit Parihar from the Department of English were crucial in organizing the event along with their team of students.

VIMARSH (The Reading Club) at Sarasvati IKS Centre, in collaboration with IQAC, Shyam Lal College successfully hosted a two-day event on 10th and 11th September 2024. The event, inaugurated by Principal Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar, featured the screening of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar followed by a quiz competition.
