Ignitron 2025 – A Power-Packed Success! ⚡

The Department of Computer Science & Technology, MAIT, successfully organized IGNITRON 2025, an immersive Hands-on Workshop on AI Workflow & Automation using n8n.

Led by our esteemed guest speaker Priyank Singh – AI Agent, Automation Expert & YouTuber – the session offered participants an exceptional opportunity to explore the world of AI automation and intelligent workflows.

Students from multiple colleges actively participated, gaining practical experience in building AI agents without writing a single line of code. The workshop proved to be an inspiring and interactive experience for all attendees.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pooja Gupta, HoD, Department of CST, for her constant support and encouragement, and to Ms. Sakshi Goel, our faculty coordinator, for her dedicated guidance throughout the event.

We are proud to share that Team Squirtle from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, MAIT has secured the 3rd Position in the prestigious Stylumia NXT 2024-25 Hackathon, hosted by HackerEarth and organized by Stylumia. The Department of Computer Science and Technology (CST), MAIT, in collaboration with EKAL BLSP, organized an impactful workshop on April 9, 2025. The session featured engaging and insightful discussions led by Isha Mittal, President (Ekal Yuva BLSP), and Vidhi Goel, Treasurer (Ekal Yuva BLSP), shedding light on Delhi’s deteriorating environmental condition due to rising pollution and the excessive use of plastics.

The workshop was both inspiring and thought-provoking, fostering awareness and motivating participants to take action toward a more sustainable future.

The workshop was a resounding success, made possible under the invaluable guidance and support of Dr. Pooja Gupta, Head of the CST Department, Faculty Coordinator Mrs. Sakshi Goel, and all the faculty members of CST. The Department of Computer Science & Technology, is delighted to announce that Divyanshi Joshi, student of 6th Semester has successfully completed the prestigious Women Engineers (WE) Program by TalentSprint, supported by Google!

Selected as one of just 200 students from over 22,000 applicants nationwide, Divyanshi received a cash scholarship of ₹1 lakh and benefited from an intensive two-year mentorship program by Google both in technical as well as corporate skills.

✨ A Soaring Success: Luminar Insights 2025! ✨

TechXtract proudly hosted Luminar Insights , a premier drone and aerospace event, on March 18, 2025, at the Main Auditorium, Mait .
With 250+ enthusiastic attendees, the event was a resounding success!

A huge thank you to Anurag Agarwal(Director - Aerostars UAV Technology, MAIT alumnus) for his inspiring session on UAV technology and aerospace opportunities.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our HOD, Dr. Pooja Gupta and Mr. Priyank Saxena (Faculty Coordinator ) whose efforts ensured smooth ex*****on. We also extend our gratitude to the CST faculty for their encouragement.

An industrial visit to “Solid State, Physics Laboratory, DRDO” was successfully organised by the Department of Computer Science and Technology on Thursday, 13 February 2025. 25 students and two faculties, Mr. Priyank Saxena and Mrs Sakshi Goel visited there to understand how SSPL develops semiconductor materials, microelectronic devices, and related technologies for applications like optoelectronics, microwave systems, and sensors.
The industrial visit was enriched with knowledge and experience, and so provided a great opportunity to learn practically through demonstration, interaction and exchange of information.
We are thankful to Ram Ashish Chouksey(Sc. ‘F’ and Record Officer) for their able guidance and support throughout the visit.
