rominent higher education institutions, including IITs, IIITs, NITs, IIMs, Central Universities, State Universities, and Ayurvedic Medical Colleges, Engineering Colleges Etc. At these CSL centres, students, teachers, professors, staff members, their families, and members of the surrounding community engage in the study and
practice of Sanskrit throughout the year. The Central Sanskrit University manages the entire process, including admissions, distribution of self-study materials, examinations, and issuance of certificates. Qualified and experienced teachers, trained by the Central Sanskrit University, conduct the teaching at these centres. The centres offer instruction in Prathama-Diksha (First Level) and Dvitiya-Diksha (Second Level), as prescribed and published by the university. By participating in these courses, learners become proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in Sanskrit. In addition to regular classes, a variety of Sanskrit-related programs and activities are conducted in the Sanskrit language. These Sanskrit Study Centres represent a significant and commendable initiative for the promotion and preservation of Sanskrit across the country.
