The college has two senior division N.C.C. H.N.

(Army wing) with strength of 160 cadets each for girls and boys wings, respectively. In addition, Naval wing and Air wing vacancies are also available in open. The N.C.C. which was introduced in the University
and the College in 1948 through an Act of Parliament under the chairmanship of Pt. Kunjru, aims to shape up youth and
unveil their hidden potential to face challenges and be winners in l

in the EK BHARAT SHRESTHA BHARAT-INDEPENDENCE DAY CAMP cm YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM (EBSB-IDC cm YEP'22) , held at DG NCC in Delhi , from 31st JULY to 16th AUGUST. Cadets from all around India and across the world showcased their cultural ethos via the means of dance, exhibiting an immeasurable spirit.

With India celebrating AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV and marking it's 75th years of independence, NCC india with its 17 directorates paired up with 14 countries across the world and exchanged its varicoloured ethnicity through various cultural performances. Sense of ekta, deshbhakti and mutual respect was inculcated among cadets post completion of the camp.

The theme of the event for year 2022 was VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM and with their guarding presence, DG NCC Lt. Gen. GurbirPal Singh AVSM, VSM and ADG Delhi Dte. Rajat Kumar Mathur VSM marked the success of the program .

successfully attended the ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat - Special National Integration Camp’ held at Srinagar from 14 to 26 June 2022 as a part of Delhi Directorate NCC.
There Delhi Directorate bagged 1 silver in Inter Directorate National Integration Awareness Program (NIAP) and 2 bronze in Inter Directorate Quiz Competition and Inter Directorate Debate Competition.

JUO Priyank Dhuliya, recieved Group Commander Appreciation Medal.

2022, truly the best year for Deshbandhu College NCC where we not only got to experience the "75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" but also "70 years of Deshbandhu College" and "100 years of University of Delhi".

The Independence Day was celebrated with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony in the presence of our Principal Prof. Rajiv Aggarwal Sir and the Chief Guest of the event being our former alumni Lt. Kumar Raushan.

Guided by the mantra "Karmanye vadhikaraste"- our motto,
Deshbandhu College continues to grow and completed 70 years of it's glorious legacy on 3rd August, 2022.

A grand event was organised in Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath.

Where the Chief Guest of the Event, Shri Bhupender Yadav, Union Cabinet Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change; and Labour and Employment, Govt. Of India was presented with a Guard of Honour by the cadets.

Other dignitaries such as Prof. Shri Prakash Singh (Director, South Campus), Shri O.P. Kholi (Former Governor of Gujarat), Prof. Balaram Pani (Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi) also graced the occasion.

It was all possible due the the efforts of our respected Principal Prof. Rajiv Aggarwal and the College staff.
