The Leadership Talk Session organized by RIIO at RDIAS was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from students. Mr. Sharad Gangadhar More, Director & COO, Dabbawala Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Sunil Saitwal, Spokesperson, Dabbawala, Dabbawala Enterprises Pvt. Ltd shared valuable insights on time management, punctuality, discipline, teamwork, and leadership through the Dabbawala model.

The session highlighted how effective planning, coordination, and commitment to deadlines contribute to operational efficiency and consistent performance. It gave students practical management insights that connected academic concepts to real-world practice.

Conversations, discussions and talks seem to be the flavour of the season for the Industry Interface office at Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies (RDIAS) and we are grateful for the same!

On August 19, 2026 our Leadership Talk with Mr. Sharad Gangadhar More - Director & COO, DABBAWALA ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED and Mr. Sunil Saitwal, Spokesperson - Dabbawala Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., became one such talk that stayed with us.

Their warmth, humility, openness, and the ease with which they shared their experiences made the interaction incredibly real and relatable for our students. They spoke from experience, about leadership, discipline, trust, teamwork, responsibility, and the importance of taking pride in one’s work. Simple stories, but with lessons that carry far beyond the classroom.

We are genuinely grateful to Mr. More and Mr. Saitwal for taking the time and making the effort to travel to Delhi and spend time with our students.

Through the RDIAS Industry Interface Office (RIIO), our Leadership Talk Series is an effort to create meaningful opportunities for students to meet, listen to, and learn from people with journeys worth hearing.

Students of the UHV Club, RDIAS, participated in a One-Day Training Programme on “Green Buildings for Combating Climate Change,” organised by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Combating Climate Change (MGICCC), Government of NCT of Delhi, on 10 August 2026.

The programme offered students an opportunity to engage with the principles of sustainable infrastructure, climate-conscious development and green building practices, while gaining insights into the role of young professionals in addressing pressing environmental challenges.
