Team ThunderBOLT is NORTHERN INDIA ENGINEERING COLLEGE's official SAE-BAJA and SAE-SUPRA team. SAE-SUPRA team also consist of 25 enthusiastic members who accept the task of designing, modeling and fabricating a prototype formula racing car for the auto enthusiasts. The event can have more than 150 teams competing for the title of the best car. The car is judged on the parameters of maneuverability
, fuel economy and originality of design. SAE-BAJA team is made up of 25 passionate and devoted students who volunteer their time and talents each year to conceive, design, and build an All Terrain Vehicle without any industrial help. Up against more than 300 other top Engineering institutes , the car is not only judged on durability, but on design and durability as a mass-produced All-terrain vehicle. Through this practical application of their studies, students utilize leadership, teamwork, marketing, organization and financial skills to succeed in this venture.
