The Career & Development Cell is the exclusive placement unit for the students of the Department of Commerce, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi. The idea for a separate exclusive placement cell for the Department of Commerce (CommUNITY) was presented in front of the Department and the proposal was accepted by the department. The same started its operation with its inauguration on
24th September, 2011. The "subhaarmbh" of the placement Cell was done on the same day and the Staffing of the same was done. Dr. Deepak Seghal, professor, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Colleg, is the Chairperson of the Cell and he along with Mukesh kumar Pandey, President, planned the various dimensions of the cell and the recruitment for the various roles for the same. The Cell would equip the student of commerce with the various paths for their development. There shall be myriads of seminars, conferences, personality assessment tests, etc and the Placement for 3rd year students.
