Semester 6 Jediiians, dove into post-traumatic design, reimagining how visual communication responds in moments of crisis—specifically, rapid-response systems for nuclear radiation scenarios. This wasn’t just about making things look compelling; it was about making them work when it matters most.

Our Fashion Design Jediiians presented a curated mini collection by styling and wearing their own creations, bringing their vision to life under the expert guidance of Ms. Sangeeta.

The experience became even more meaningful with the presence of Managing Director Rupal Ma’am and Director Harsh Sir, who joined the showcase and celebrated the students’ creativity firsthand.

But the highlight was watching Rupal Ma’am personally appreciate their efforts and encourage every young creator.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — The world is one family. 🇵🇪

At JD Institute, this isn’t just a theme for iFestival 2026, it’s a lived experience in our classrooms.

Our students recently immersed themselves in the rich textile traditions of Peru 🇵🇪—exploring the evolution of clothing systems, the deep symbolism behind ceremonial and royal attire, and the stories woven into every thread.

The highlight? A powerful live demonstration where students stepped into history, donning traditional royal ensembles once worn by the king and queen of ancient Peru. Guided by Mr. Adrián Llave, they further explored authentic Peruvian garments—understanding the meaning behind colours, materials, accessories, and intricate tying techniques.

Through interactive discussions and hands-on learning, our students are not just studying design—they’re embracing global cultures, perspectives, and narratives.

Because at JD, learning goes beyond boundaries… and the world truly becomes one family.
