Our students took on a hands-on design challenge where every decision - from how to balance a structure to how to make an idea work - was part of the learning. It was less about the final form and more about the thinking, testing and problem-solving that got them there.

From JD classroom to exporting in 20+ countries - Aakansha Piplani’s journey is built on purpose and persistence.

Founder of AP Curated Couture, she started in 2017 with just one product. Today, she runs a registered manufacturer and exporter with 25+ accessories, thousands of garment styles, and a global presence.

And her biggest lesson to our Jediiians? Don’t chase quick success. Build slow, build steady and let the results follow.

From classroom concepts to factory floors - this is what design education looks like beyond the studio.

Our Jediiians got an exclusive look inside the world of design and manufacturing with JD alumni Krishna Gupta, exploring his interior and furniture ventures firsthand.

From the glass unit to the manufacturing floor, and from marble works to the furniture outlet - the visit traced how a concept moves from sketch to structure, and how a business is built around it.

This is the other half of design education: not just how it looks, but how it’s made.
