From baolis to tanks, every structure tells a story.
On 6th February 2026 at 10:00 AM, we traced the legacy of water management systems at Mehrauli Archaeological Park, learning how historical landscapes continue to shape present-day environmental thought. 💦
The walk was thoughtfully led by Mr. Shubham Mishra, whose deep knowledge of historical water systems and engaging storytelling brought sites like Hauz-e-Shamsi and Rajon ki Baoli to life. His insights connected architecture, ecology, and history, making the experience both academically enriching and deeply immersive. 🌿🏛️

"Places are at once the medium and the message of cultural life. They are where cultures, communities, and people root themselves and give themselves definition." - as rightly said by Jon Anderson, culture is not static, but what evolves within places. As we are ready to launch GEOGRAPHICA, 2026, we invite you to delve into your thoughts and bring out all that you have seen, heard or felt about the cultural kaleidoscope that this world has developed. Our theme this time revolves around "Culture through the Contours of the world: Reliving traditions with a spatial lens".

You are welcome to unbox your knowledge about the culture of different regions and their evolution, where nature plays a crucial role in shaping who we are today, understanding the power dynamics that comes with the changing world structure and given the growing tech-induced world today, explore the stance of culture and its attributes. Bringing out the essence of culture with the global issues, we urge you to travel across destinations and bring home your terrific ideas!

We are open to a variety of submissions in the form of creative literary pieces, vivid artwork, enthralling photographs, comprehensive reports and much more. Let your work create magic!
