🌀 *RADICAL SCAVENGER* 🌀 under RASAYANOTSAVA'19

Radical Scavenger is comprised of two rounds.

🔹Round 1 : *Cat-An-ion*
One of the participants will be given a cation and other one an anion. Search over the salt formed. Five Questions(one word) will be asked over your salt.

🔹Round 2 : *Pictionary*
Slides will be shown and you have to recognise the picture.

*Final result is the cumulative of both the rounds.*

*Venue : LT - 013*
*Prize worth : ₹2500*

*Instructions :*

▪Registrations are allowed only in pairs.

▪Round 1 will allow you 2 minutes to search over the salt formed. You may use your phone.

▪Round 2 restricts use of phone. Half a minute will be provided.

▪Negative marking will be there on exceeding the laid time.

▪Carrying your ID cards is mandatory.

▪ Be present at the mentioned venue 10 minutes prior the event timing.

under *RASAYANOTSAVA 2k19*
*Details of the competition are-*
*Date:* 4th October,2019
*Time:* 3 PM Onwards
*Venue:* Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College(Nearest Metro Station-Dwarka Mor)
Rules are as follows:
🔹 Participation is allowed in pairs only.
🔹 Any verbal communication is strictly prohibited and Lip sync is also prohibited.
🔹 There will be atleast 2 rounds and number of rounds can increase depending on the number of teams participating.
🔹 Each pair will be given a time of 2 minutes to do the task.
🔹 Students will be given names of chemicals, scientists, reactions, apparatuses and elements , for doing the task.
🔹 The roles of team members will be changed in every round.
🔹 You can not change your partner after the competition starts.
🔹 Final result will be an overall conclusion of all the rounds conducted and will be announced by our judges.
🔹 Participants must report 20 minutes prior to the competition.
🔹 All participants must carry their valid college ID Cards.

Chief guest:- Professor Ashok k ganguli
He is currently professor of chemistry (HAG) at IIT Delhi and is also the founding Director of Institute of Nano Science and Technology in Mohali (Jan 2013- Jan 2018). Prof. Ganguli obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Solid State & Structural Chemistry Unit (SSCU) of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1990 in the area of Thallium based high temperature superconductors .He has been a visiting scientist at Dupont company and Ames Laboratory, USA.
