The Delhi College of Arts & Commerce introduced the prestigious B.A. Journalism course in the year 1989. Since then it has travelled a long way… today DCAC and Journalism are synonymous. Over the years we have given anchors , editors , reporters , correspondents, analysts, filmmakers, PR professionals, copy writers, Rj's, Vj's, social activists, policy-makers to the media industry. No area in the media has been left untouched by our students. We have a very talented , mature and experienced faculty who have nurtured the students with their rich inputs and have carved a niche for the department. Why DCAC? The course prepares the students to enter the industry as trained professionals ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities that it offers. It empowers the students with knowledge and skills, thus inducing professionalism in them. The revised curriculum has been crafted in order to encompass the changing demands of the media.
