The Department of Information Technology, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, organized a Teachers’ Day Celebration titled “Guru Vandana – Honouring Our Mentors” on 8th September 2025. The program was conducted to express gratitude and respect towards the faculty members for their dedicated guidance and contribution to students’ academic and personal growth.

🚀 Engineers’ Day @ AICTE, New Delhi

On Sept 15, AICTE launched three landmark initiatives — Project PRACTICE, ARI Portal, and AICTE R&D + Climate Cells — to transform India’s technical education ecosystem.

We are proud that 30 students of IT department from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Rohini participated in national event under the coordination of Dr. Vasudha Bahl and Mr. Vibhor Sharma.

These initiatives aim to benefit 20 lakh students & 10,000 faculty members, bridging industry–academia gaps and fostering sustainable innovation. 🌱💡

🌟 Engineers’ Day Celebration at IT Department, MAIT 🌟

On 15th September 2025, the IT Department, MAIT successfully celebrated Engineers’ Day with an engaging Debate Competition on the thought-provoking topic:
💡 “AI Will Not Take Future Jobs of Engineers.”

The event commenced with an inspiring address by Dr. Amita Goel, HOD (IT Department), who highlighted the importance of Engineers’ Day and extended heartfelt thanks to all engineers for their invaluable contributions to society.

Students then enthusiastically participated in the debate, presenting their views both in favor and against the motion, sparking insightful discussions about the role of AI and the evolving future of engineering.

The event concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Nidhi Sengar and Dr. Bhaskar Kapoor, who also coordinated the event and appreciated the students for their active participation and thought-provoking perspectives.

The celebration not only honored the spirit of engineering but also inspired students to embrace innovation and critical thinking. 🚀✨

ElevatHub – the official society of the IT Department – successfully organized a 5-day online bootcamp on Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). The program was designed to strengthen coding fundamentals, problem-solving, and interview readiness.

The Department of Information Technology,ElevatHub society, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, successfully organized a seminar on “Unlocking Internship Opportunities” on 20th August 2025.

A total of 41 students from the 3rd and 5th semesters actively participated in the session. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Prajwal Mishra (Batch 2022–2026), who shared valuable insights on leveraging LinkedIn and other professional tools to enhance placement and internship prospects. He also highlighted practical strategies related to product management, market research, and data analysis.

The session proved to be highly beneficial and motivating for the students, equipping them with effective approaches to explore and secure future opportunities.

📢 Successful Completion of AI Security Summer Training Program – 2025

We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 6-week Summer Training Program on Artificial Intelligence and Security, jointly conducted by the Departments of EEE and IT at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, in collaboration with CRAC Learning, under the leadership of Ms Swati Laxmi.

The program culminated in an insightful demo session, where students showcased their practical learning in AI Security. Participants were felicitated with certificates of appreciation and goodies to recognize their efforts.

The Rotaract Club of Delhi MAIMS & MAIT organized the vibrant ‘Cooking Without Fire’ competition on 11th April 2025 to promote sustainability, creativity, and team bonding. Members from all departments participated enthusiastically, crafting dishes without heat using fresh, eco-friendly ingredients. From mocktails and salads to fusion bites and desserts, each entry showcased innovation and presentation skills. A panel of faculty and senior club members judged entries on taste, creativity, nutrition, hygiene, and teamwork. The event fostered unity and fun, with live commentary and audience engagement. Special prizes and certificates were awarded, with the winning team praised for their themed platter and layered dessert. The event was a memorable celebration of Rotaract’s spirit and values.
