Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi is a 10-day grand celebration that is ushered in with a lot of zeal and fervour.

The day celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha , the God of wisdom, prosperity, good fortune and the destroyer of evils. It is celebrated with much fervour across the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. People decorate their houses and cook special food like modaks, various coconut-filled sweets, and confectionaries to welcome Ganesha to their homes .

May the destroyer of malice grace you with harmony and love;and endowments be showered upon you from paradise up above!

HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI

“The world’s most powerful word is Hare Krishna” ― Ansuman Bhagat, Your Own Thought : A Lot of Thoughts 🌸🙏

✨Janmashtami, Hindu festival celebrating the birth (janma) of the god Krishna on the eighth (ashtami) day of the dark fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada (August–September). The birth of Lord Krishna took place to dispel evil from the earth and spread the message of love and brotherhood. 🎊

In the whole of India, it is celebrated with devotional songs, people keep the fast whole day, several temples were decorated beautifully dedicated to the life journey of Krishna. Dahi Handi is one of the most festive events of the Janmashtami celebration.🏺

May the celebrations of Krishna Janmashtami fill our hearts with hope, peace, and happiness. Sending best wishes on Krishna Janmashtami to all.🛕

Like every year, this year also, our college celebrated Independence Day on 12th August 2022 with great joy and pomp. On that day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen on the faces of all the people as India was celebrating Aazadi ka amrit mahotsav .The program started with "tiranga yatra" in which a parade was led by NCC Cadets. After the parade was over, everyone unfurled the flag together in the front lawn of college premises. As soon as the flag was hosted, everyone sang the national anthem. After that, everyone headed to the auditorium for a special program which included various performances by college students and speech by the Guest of Honour (Sh. Danish Ashraf, IAS Officer; Deputy
Commissioner, South Delhi Municipal Corporation)
and by the Chief Guest (Ms.Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State,
Ministry of Commerce and Industry) in which they congratulated college for completing it's 75 years and commented on topics of common interests. Society of general awareness proudly attended this event with great enthusiasm and a sense of patriotism and celebrated 75 years of India's Independence and our college's platinum jubilee year.
