The Centre for Skill Enhancement and E-Cell, Janki Devi Memorial College, in collaboration with JDVC, proudly hosted Womennovator’s 10K Fellowship Programme - an inspiring platform dedicated to nurturing women entrepreneurs and empowering young entrepreneurial minds.

The programme featured an insightful panel discussion, offering valuable perspectives, experiences and entrepreneurial insights, followed by an engaging Speed Mentoring Session, where participants had the opportunity to connect, learn and gain meaningful guidance from experienced mentors.

With pride in their hearts and the Tricolour held high, the NCC Cadets of Janki Devi Memorial College proudly marched through the college premises and surrounding streets, spreading the message of patriotism, unity, and national pride.

Led by Prof. Swati Pal, Principal, Dr. Kaushal, Administrative Officer, and our dedicated staff advisors, the spirited march reflected the commitment of our students towards the nation and the values of discipline, unity, and service.

The courtyard of Janki Devi Memorial College came alive in the colours of the Tricolour as students, staff, Principal Prof. Swati Pal Ma’am, and faculty members came together to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of India with immense enthusiasm, excitement, and pride.

Why did it take so long for Dalit histories to become part of Partition studies?

We are delighted to share that Akanksha Kumar, Assistant Professor, Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi, will be speaking at The Community Library Project, South Ex., Kotla on Saturday, 22 August at 5:00 p.m.

Her talk, “Why Did It Take So Long? The Missing Dalit Histories of Partition,” explores overlooked voices, lived experiences, and new questions that continue to reshape our understanding of the past.
