This Thursday, we’re resuming our Book Club sessions!

For this week, we will be discussing ‘Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom’. Everyone is requested to come prepared with the next 50 pages of the book.

📖 The PDF as well as the audiobook has been provided, so please make use of them and come prepared to read, listen, and actively participate in the discussion. Your participation will make the session more engaging and will also be helpful for our upcoming exams and readings.

📢 महत्वपूर्ण सूचना – प्राचार्य प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम

भारती कॉलेज की राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति द्वारा प्रस्तावित प्राचार्य प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम हेतु आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जा रहे हैं।

इच्छुक छात्राओं से अनुरोध है कि आवेदन करने से पहले निम्नलिखित आवश्यक शर्तों एवं निर्देशों को ध्यानपूर्वक पढ़ लें:

1. आवेदन हिंदी भाषा में हस्तलिखित (Handwritten) होना अनिवार्य है।
2. अंग्रेज़ी-हिंदी अनुवाद के लिए आवश्यक अनुवाद क्षमता होनी चाहिए।
3. हिंदी टंकण (Typing) में पर्याप्त कुशलता होनी चाहिए।
4. चयनित प्रत्येक छात्रा को ₹2,000 प्रतिमाह अनुदान/छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की जाएगी।
5. अधिकतम दो छात्राओं का चयन किया जाएगा।
6. आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 7 सितंबर 2026 है।
7. यदि पूर्व में किसी अनुवाद कार्य का अनुभव है, तो उसके प्रमाण/विवरण को आवेदन के साथ संलग्न करें।
8. आवेदन पत्र प्रशासनिक विभाग में प्रातः 10:00 बजे से शाम 4:00 बजे तक श्री हेमन्त कुमार के पास जमा किया जा सकता है।

Youth Power in Action | MyBharat Registration Drive 🇮🇳✨

Empowering youth begins with awareness, participation and collective action!

Our Youth Club Ambassadors, Varnika and Niharika Chhabra, along with the leaders of our Youth Club, have taken the lead in mobilising students and creating awareness about the MyBharat App across the college.

Through dedicated outreach and interaction, they have encouraged and guided our first-year students to register on the MyBharat platform, helping them discover opportunities for youth engagement, volunteering, learning and nation-building.

Their initiative reflects the true spirit of youth leadership—inform, inspire and involve. 🌱🙌

Together, let’s build a more aware, active and empowered youth community!

📚✨ Extended Orientation on GE, SEC & VAC Papers

The Student’s Help Desk and NEP Team at Bharati College organised an extended orientation session for Semester I students to help them navigate and understand the significance of GE, SEC and VAC papers under the NEP framework.

Dr. Vandana Yadav and Dr. Princy Jain guided students through the relevance, scope and academic value of these courses. Coordinators of GE, SEC, VAC and AECC, along with faculty members teaching these papers across different departments, introduced students to their respective syllabi, objectives, learning outcomes and course structure through engaging presentations.

The session empowered students to make informed academic choices and understand how these interdisciplinary courses contribute to their holistic learning and overall development. 🌱📖

भारती महाविद्यालय के भारतीयज्ञान–परम्परा–प्रभाग एवं संस्कृत विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में दशदिवसीय संस्कृत–संभाषण–शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है।

🇮🇳 Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom at Bharati College 🇮🇳

Bharati College, University of Delhi, commemorated the 80th Independence Day with a vibrant and inspiring celebration of patriotism, culture and the power of words, featuring a solemn Flag Hoisting Ceremony followed by a captivating Kavi Sammelan.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of our esteemed guests: Shri Jagdish Mittal Ji, National President, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam and Member, Shastri Nikay, Bharati College; Smt. Neha Sharma; Shri Kalam Bharti; and Dr. Sunita Swami. Their presence and inspiring words added immense warmth and significance to the celebrations.

The morning beautifully blended the solemnity of our national spirit with the richness of Hindi poetry, creating a memorable celebration of freedom, unity, culture and expression.

A heartfelt appreciation to the students of Mridang Society for their soulful Saraswati Vandana, which commenced the programme with grace and devotion; to our NCC students for their disciplined and dignified Guard of Honour; and to the students of Dastaan Society for capturing the precious moments and memories of this special occasion.

Our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration a meaningful tribute to the nation. 🇮🇳
