The Bridge Course
(for Graduates of Deeni Madaris)

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available at the University Websites www.amu.ac.in for admission to The Bridge Course for Graduates of Deeni Madaris. Foreign Nationals graduating from Indian Madrasa?s may also apply.
Duration of Course: One year
Intake of Students: 100
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:

§ Graduates possessing Aalimiyat or Fazilat from any government aided or autonomous Madarsa in India.
§ Age limit: Not to exceed 25 years.

Selection Process:
Written Examination: Candidates will be selected on the basis of an all India screening test to be conducted in Aligarh. The duration of the test will be two hours. 50% of the examination papers will be based on MCQs (multiple choice questions) while another 50% will be aimed at evaluating their ability to write, think and comprehend on issues of Islamic import, with an emphasis on their proficiency in English language.
Interview: Those who qualify the written examination will be called for an interview.

Boarding and Lodging:
Accommodation: During the duration of the course, accommodation shall be provided in the University and/or Hostels as per the availability.

Fee Structure: Tuition fee: Rs.1200/- + 300/- admission fee (total Rs. 1500/-). Lodging charges shall be 500 /- per annum. Dining hall charges are Rs.1000/- per month. All the male students will have to deposit Rs.750/- as Sherwani charges (The tailoring charges will be borne by the student).

Scholarship: Meritorious and/or financially weak students may be provided with scholarships.

Course Certificate: On the successful completion of the course, students will be given a certificate.
