Guidance Session 2026 | Albatross 🪽

From choosing the right academic path to exploring research, higher studies and career opportunities, our Guidance Session brought together practical insights for navigating life beyond B.Sc. Zoology.

The session covered the importance of building a strong academic foundation, understanding the relevance of the 3rd and 4th year, preparing strategically for competitive examinations such as CUET-PG, IIT JAM and CSIR-NET, and exploring Master’s programmes, research, internships, scholarships and employment opportunities.

A key takeaway was simple: there is no single path after Zoology. The journey begins with exploration, skill-building and informed choices.

Students were also introduced to useful resources for entrance preparation, scholarships and internships, along with guidance on developing skills in scientific reading, literature review, data analysis, scientific writing and laboratory work.

Here’s to making informed choices, exploring possibilities and building a path that is truly your own. 🌿🔬

Every journey begins with curiosity, ours begins with Albatross. 🌿

Hi! I'm Honey, and I'm honoured to serve as the President of Albatross –The Zoological Society for the 2026 - 27 tenure.

You'll usually find me with a cup of coffee, a rap playlist on repeat, or somewhere surrounded by nature; it's where I feel most like myself. ☕🎧🌿 Those little moments remind me to stay grounded, embrace curiosity, and appreciate the journey.

As President, I hope to make Albatross a space where ideas are welcomed, opportunities are created, and every member feels encouraged to explore, contribute, and grow together.

Here's to a year of curiosity, opportunities, meaningful connections, and moments we'll cherish long after college. 🦋✨
