The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (𝐈𝐈𝐅𝐓) marked its 63𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 with pride and enthusiasm in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders.
Prof Anil D Sahasrabudhe, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐍𝐁𝐀 & 𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐅, the chief guest for the day highlighted the importance of multilingual education to enhance accessibility and emphasized the growing relevance of IIFT’s education in preparing future leaders to navigate today’s VUCA world. He also appreciated IIFT’s expansion across Delhi, Kolkata, GIFT City, and Kakinada, reflecting the institute’s growing national presence and inclusivity.
Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫, 𝐈𝐈𝐅𝐓, reflected on the institute’s transformative growth and highlighted recent academic and research milestones, including major conferences, the Vice-Chancellors’ Conclave 2026, and the launch of the Pitch Perfect Australia–India Business Compendium, reinforcing IIFT’s focus on research-led innovation and global engagement.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐁. 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐈𝐈𝐅𝐓 and Guest of Honour, graced the occasion and shared his reflections on IIFT’s remarkable journey and enduring legacy in shaping leaders in international business and trade.
A key highlight of the day was the 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐈𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞, strengthening digital accessibility and stakeholder engagement. Prof. Dr. Ashim Raj Singla, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞, addressed the gathering and shared insights into the vision, features, and collaborative efforts behind the website development.
