One cannot dictate the movement of the hands of the clock. It does on its own and it is the duty of each and everyone to comply with its rules.

The Third Round of Delegate and Second Round Of International Press Applications are closing soon.

Those who had applied are the ones who have complied with the rules set by time and will now tread on the path of being the peacemakers and get an opportunity to show case the diplomat in them ,

voice their opinions ,with great power,

to bring in peace not by the usage of any arms and ammunitions but by the usage of words and ideas as their weapon.

Indira Gandhi doesn't only bring out the importance of curiosity but also very aptly depicts Akshat's love for the Gandhi clan. A third year student of Information Technology, Mr. Akshat Awasthi aspires to become a White Hat hacker working for Information Security in India. His interest in politics, economics and technology is not just a "once in a six years" episode but the reason which made him get into MUNing and debating. He firmly believes that in an MUN most of us have to lose a lot to learn how to win, but what matters the most is to not give up.

His message to all of you is to never underestimate the power of and essence of diplomacy. Be confident, enjoy and give it your best. Your hard work will definitely pay off today or tomorrow. Shine on you crazy diamonds, may the odds be in your favor!

Mr. Kumar Ritwik is a student of law, pursuing his degree from National Law University Delhi. Apart from his keen interest in Indian polity and managing his NGO in Bihar, he wishes to positively influence the lives of billions through the course that destiny paves for him.

In the opinion of Ms. Manaswita Singh, the importance of collective wisdom, the role of vigorous discussions and the significance of arguments with optimistic perspectives are keys to the success of MUN Conferences. To be a part of one such finest MUN Conferences in the circuit is really an honour for her. Moreover, as an Executive Board Member for a Committee like ‘All India Political Parties Meet’ is indeed a matter of immense responsibility and prestige. With her sincere efforts and continued guidance, She strongly believes that the process of carving out of the best from the delegates will be incalculably met with and the Conference will deliver expected goals as per its vision of a quality event in harmony with the outlook of the Secretariat of IPUMUN.It is truly believed, ‘Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease togrow.’ A Model UN Conference should not just be about winning an award, rather, it should be about learning and taking back memories that can be cherished for the lifetime. She is looking forward to a coherent, productive and constructive debate where everyone can discover, learn,appreciate and actually enjoy being a part of this Conference. Here’s a brief about all the members :

Ms. Syeda Sana has trained over 1000 students across disciplines, and is presently a volunteer at Four Steps - an organization that works for the mentally challenged, and at Finger Chat – an organization that imparts training in sign language. She has been involved in training Blind School students for the last two years of her high school. She is an international level Taekwondo gold medallist and has been associated with Model United Nations Conferences in various capacities. She is interested in issues pertaining to human rights and the marginalized portions of the society. Sana is currently pursuing her bachelors in Philosophy from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.

Mr. Nikhil Goyal is pursuing Sociology Honors from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. He has an avid interest in literature and music and is passionate about poetry. He has been a part of the MUN circuit since the last 4 years in varying capacities. He loves to experience new committees and different agendas. He judges an individual's journey not by the bag of distinctions or laurels an individual has but by the wisdom, sense of responsibility and feeling of empathy possessed by them. He credits his cherished journey of MUN experience to each and every individual who has contributed to his growth and learning. He hopes to dispense his duty to the best of his capacity and make a memorable experience for everyone around him.

Ms. Shreya Chatterjee recently graduated from Miranda House, University of Delhi, her major being in History. Hailing from Bhopal, she has a knack for reading, Harry Potter and Marvel movies. Topics that amuse her the most are discussions focused around humanitarian issues, gender and international relations. She has been an active member of Zenith MUN hosted by Miranda House College for three years. She looks forward to fruitful and engaging debate with a two way learning experience at Indraprastha University Model United Nations, and is glad to be on board.

Here’s a brief about all the members :

Mr. Varad Choudhary is currently pursuing a degree in law from Amity Law School Delhi, Affliated to GGSIP University. Ever since his days at St. Columba's School, he has religiously participated in over 100 MUN's in every capacity, in various parts of the country. He has chaired over 60 conventional and unconventional simulations in his 7 year long association with this activity. He has trained over 3000 students in the art and skill of MUN's and has organized 5 national level MUN Conferences.
Besides MUN's, Varad has participated in two international moot court competitions and also serves as the convenor of his college Moot Court Society. He looks forward to an enriching experience at IPUMUN 2018.

Mr. Advaya Shukla is currently pursuing B.Tech from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. He has been participating in MUNs since 2012 and has attended more than 60 conferences, both in the capacity of a delegate and as a member of the executive board. He extends his best wishes to the secretariat and the delegates and hopes the conference is a success

With a cool head, great interpersonal skills and a suave personality, Mr. Shubham Gaddi has acquired appropriate knowledge about the intricacies of an MUN. In the recent years, his active participation in MUNs has helped him learn to strike a balance between following stringent parliamentary procedures and giving the delegates a certain degree of freedom. A firm believer of peace, support and action, he has a solution focused frame of mind and can act as a forward thinker thus making sure that the discussion does not go in rounds and the main issue is the one that is being addressed. His dedication and enthusiasm make him a good team player. He realizes and respects the fact that the committee is a learning experience for all and can be successful only with team effort.

COMMITTEE #5 RELEASE:
The African Union is one of the key regional organisations, created with an endless number of motives. It was introduced to achieve greater unity among African nations, to guard the sovereignty of member states and to aid in gaining stable, democratic principles. The delegates come together as a cohesive body in order to orate these major issues with comprehensive and effectual resolutions. Being an intermediate committee, it is suitable for both beginners and experienced delegates alike.
With this, we present to you the fifth committee, to be simulated at Indraprastha University Model United Nations 2018, to be held on 18-19 August, 2018.

The United Nations Security Council is one of the six principal organs of United Nations, charged with the primary responsibility of maintaining international peace and security. The delegates not only develop friendly relations among nations but also cooperate in solving international problems and in promoting respect for Human Dignity. The United Nations Security Council is said to be the centre for harmonizing actions of nations.

The All India Political Parties Meet is a non-conventional yet a powerful committee, instigated in order to emulate political realities by emphasizing on various layers of polity and governance in India. Keeping oneself updated with the on- going changes in every possible dynamic field related to Indian Politics is must, given that youth is the future.
The All India Political Parties Meet is a platform where diverse political perspectives and personalities hold hands to make reforms on issues of national importance. Thus, it not only highlights the need of today's generation to be a part of the country in decision-making but also assures their contribution towards its rectification.
