We are the Debating & Quizing society of SGND Khalsa College, one of the oldest college of University of Delhi. To enhance the knowledge of the students through Debating & Quizzing this society was formed in year 2010. Since then it has strived to become on of the most successful society of Delhi University & has won more than 300 prizes till date.

▫️Both lone wolves and teams of two are allowed.

VEDANG- The Debating and Quizzing Society of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, University of Delhi brings to you the Inter-College Conventional Debate Competition as a part of its Annual Fest "PRAKHAR'23".💫

💭 Here's everything you need to know:
🔖Date: 29th March, 2023
⏱️ Time: 11 AM
📍Venue: SGND Khalsa College, Karol Bagh
🖇No registration fee

📝 The topic for debate will be released after confirmation of slots.

📌 Rules:
▫️The competition is open for all students currently studying in any college affiliated to an Indian university.
▫️Participation should be in a team of two, one speaking in favour and the other against the motion.
▫️The medium of speech is trilingual, either in Hindi, English or Punjabi language.
▫️Slots will be provided on "First come, First Serve" basis.
▫️Speaking time : 3+1 (3 minutes for speaking, 1 minute for interjection).
▫️Slots will be confirmed via call.
▫️Use of foul or inappropriate language shall lead to disqualification.
▫️Decision of judges will be final and binding.

VEDANG :THE DEBATING AND QUIZZING SOCIETY of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College cordially invites you all to the Virtual Orientation Program 2022.💫

Debating and Quizzing are wonderful mediums to build a variety of transferrable skills that can help you succeed at university, in your profession, and in life in general. Public speaking ability, communication skills, critical thinking, creative thinking, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and – most importantly – self-confidence are all on the list that you'll learn in Vedang.🌈

You may have been nervous when delivering a speech or answering a question in the past. Challenges such as this will start to feel trivial after you've spent some time debating and quizzing here!🪄
