The college has a well equipped air conditioned library. The college library, containing more than 50,000 volumes on diverse topics, was enlarged and refurbished in 2008 and adds the latest books in all subjects to its growing collection every year. The college also started its E-Resource center with more than 40 computers in a new air conditioned hall adjacent to the library in 2008. In addition the college also boasts of a common commerce computer lab which places more that sixty computers at the disposal of the students and teachers. No candidate will be qualified for admission to the University in the first year of the Degree Course unless he/she is seventeen years of age on or before the First of October, 2009. The Vice-Chancellor may, on the basis of individual merit, relax the age limit up to a maximum period of one year after the candidate has been admitted by the college and the application is sent through the Principal of the College. Not with standing anything contained in any other Ordinance no person, who has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, shall be admitted to a course of study or permitted to take any examination of the University until a period of two years has elapsed from the date of expiry of the sentence imposed on him or her.
