Anubhav - the Psychology Internship Cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya, organised a two-day training workshop on IQ Testing and Rorschach Inkblot Test on 13th-14th February 2020. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Dwarka Pershad, who elaborated upon the nuances of Psychological Testing. The participants were exposed to theoretical basis of various tests as well as their applications through practical demonstration. The workshop helped budding psychologists understand several skills that underlie accurate testing. The workshop was definitely a fruitful one. @ Keshav Mahavidyalaya

The workshop has been curated by Ms Manju Jain, who is trained in counseling, coaching and expressive arts facilitation and has delivered over 170 such workshops. 📌

Consulenza - The Counseling and Training Cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi, was conceptualized in 2014 and became independent and fully functional in 2018. It aims to provide counseling services to the students of Keshav Mahavidyalaya, uplift mental health, and work in the aspect of training and development in related areas.

It wishes to enrich knowledge and skills of the psychology students in the field of counselling through organising various events that enhance the students’ understanding of psychological concepts and help them achieve better insights. It also makes its contribution towards removing the stigma and insensitivity around mental health, encouraging people to reach out for help.

In its first active year, the cell organised annual Psychology Carnival, in collaboration with the society of psychology department - Inpsych. Under this, a seminar and four workshops were organised which was a huge learning opportunity for both psychology and non-psychology students alike.

Keeping this notion in mind, the Investiture Ceremony of the Department of Psychology, Keshav Mahavidyalaya was held on 9th August, 2019 to felicitate the office bearers for the academic year 2019-20.

Convenor of Anubhav, Dr. Harpreet Bhatia commenced the event with her words of wisdom.Our esteemed Principal, Dr. Madhu Pruthi graced the occasion with her presence and wished success to the student body in all their endeavors. Faculty members of the department Dr. Daisy Sharma, Dr. Vandana Gambhir Chopra, Dr. Shailja Rana, Dr. Pallavi Raj, Dr. Mona Ranga and Ms. Pinki congratulated the student body and wished them luck for the coming year.

Office bearers of Anubhav, InPsych and Consulenza were felicitated with distribution of badges. Reading aloud of role descriptions was followed by oath-taking.

We are glad to announce the Core Team of Anubhav. We congratulate the office bearers and hope to have a fruitful and successful year with the dedicated team. We hope they take the spirit of Anubhav to a whole new pedestal with their conviction and diligence.

"In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can ". With this thought in mind, Anubhav- The Psychology Internship Cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya was established on 28th August, 2018 with an aim to bridge the academia
industry gap by forming a liaison between students and various organizations. Today, we celebrated the first anniversary of Anubhav to honour its successful year. The event was attended by the faculty of the department as well as all the students. The faculty members highlighted the events that Anubhav had conducted so far and wished for more such events in the coming year.

Anubhav-The Psychology Internship Cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya organised a successful 2-days' workshop on Transactional Analysis with Gestalt Work. The resource persons were Dr. Avinash Desousa (Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist) and Ms. Pragya Lodha (Psychologist) from DeSousa Foundation, Mumbai.

The workshop was graced with the presence of our honourable Principal ma'am, Dr. Madhu Pruthi. The event started with a brief introduction by Dr. Harpreet Bhatia, Convener of Anubhav, about what the workshop would entail.
Thereafter, President of Anubhav, Jahnvi Goswami explained about the objective, functioning and journey of Anubhav.

The workshop began with the meaning of the words 'transaction' and 'analysis' and thereafter important concepts like the PAC model, strokes and strokes economy, Time structuring, Life script and many more were explained.

It was an activity-based interactive workshop, where the participants indulged in role plays, discussions, therapeutic activities like letter writing, empty chair, etc.

The workshop proved to be a great opportunity for the participants to explore new field of work and harness their skills through first hand experience of a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist.

Anubhav's President, Jahnvi Goswami concluded the workshop with a vote of thanks to our resource persons and respected Principal Ma'am.

A special thanks to our teachers - Dr. Harpreet Bhatia, Dr. Daisy Sharma, Dr. Vandana G. Chopra, Dr. Shailja Rana, Dr. Pallavi Raj, Dr. Mona Ranga and Ms. Pinky and also our lab-incharge Shri. Vijay Pal Sir. The event wouldn't have been a success without their guidance and support.
