This post is our tribute to our wannabe competitors (WCs hereon) who still live in the caves .. err .. Facebook. We, at MBAGuru, of course look only to better ourselves so can only empathize with their desperate desire to consummate competition ;) as that would only elevate their levels.
Our previous FB post on this page was way back in 2019, and even in the 2-3 years prior to that, we were hardly active here. We came across some of our WCs saying that MBAGuru was dead because we had no action on this page since 2019. (If this is how they make inferences, we wonder what they teach :P)
Aww .. choo chweet that you are missing us - but no baby, we are alive and kicking (with no particular fondness for your butt), we just moved on - not behind TIME like you still are, but ahead of TIME because we realized FB was so last decade and our students deserved better. In fact, even Mark (yeah Zuckerberg) realized it much later that FB was so passe that to retain relevance, he recently renamed his company META (its no longer Facebook Inc!). And you are still upholding the flag for this ancient relic!?
By 2019, we had already helped our buddy Mark (wahi uparwaala) make enough money (huh) and the next gen of our students had abandoned FB as their parents (+ traditional MBA Coaching institutes) adopted it. Insta was a personal, fun space and we didn’t want to invade it with the serious effort that MBA exam Prep is for us, and our students.
So, we are now on Telegram - where 1000s of our students benefit from more utility, greater ease, fantastic flexibility, privacy and tons of features in several ADAPTIVE groups as per their needs. Each of these groups has 1000s of our students and they create and experience 24*7 action. We know some day you will be there too - when you manage to get your head out of your $^ #* (typo for cave or past or b*tt or whatever you prefer?). We may have moved onto something more next-gen by then. Just like you followed us on SWOT and 1000 other things. Imitation —> flattery. But move faster, cos we can’t even see you in the rearview mirror.
But we came to revisit the past, to say hello and good bye to traditional CAT coaching institutes that still live here. May the sun shine upon you someday. And yes, this here is our last post on FB. You can continue misleading MBA aspirants using this hereon. We would rather focus on helping them realize their dreams :)
